Reaching out to a stranger to help you figure things out takes bravery. My work is collaborative, strength-based, and client-centered. Your goals are my goals, and understanding the values and commitments that underlie those goals often drives my curiosity.
My aim is help you get space from your problems, so that what's most important to you - your hopes, dreams, and intentions - take center stage. Together, we can chart the landscape of the things you’re up against and how they operate in your life, so you’re able to make better choices. Problems don't always go away, but they can be moved to the background, and the way we relate to them can contribute to rich and meaningful living.
As a former tv writer, I get how stories can help or harm. Stories shape our realities, not the other way around. Together, we can rewrite stories that respect the life you've led and make the life you want come into sharper focus. As someone raised in two countries, I also get how tricky it is to navigate different cultural messages.
I have a BA in Film from Vassar College and spent much of my life as a tv writer/producer before answering the call to psychotherapy. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. My lens is LGTBQIA+ affirmative, sex-positive, and I'm sensitive to issues arising from racial trauma.
Some areas of interest include:

Out of respect for safety, all services are currently being conducted remotely.
I do not accept insurance, but can provide a superbill if your insurance company reimburses for out-of-network providers.
Sessions tend to be conversational and collaborative. Your needs and goals as a client will be centered. My rate for individuals is $150 for a 50-minute session. I also have limited slots on a sliding scale and am happy to discuss that with you or try to help you find the support you're needing.
I welcome partnerships of all kinds (monogamous, poly, or open). Whether you're dealing with mistrust, stasis, or other issues, we can work together to explore how you can find greater joy and satisfaction. My rate for couples is $160 for a 50-minute session. I have limited slots on a sliding scale.
Where does it all lead? What will become of us? These were our young questions, and young answers were revealed. It leads to each other. We become ourselves.
