Psychotherapy for Individuals & Couples
Working Together
Reaching out to a stranger to help you figure things out takes bravery. My work is collaborative, strength-based, and client-centered. Your goals are my goals, and understanding the values and commitments that underlie those goals often drives my curiosity.
My aim is help you get space from your problems and the cultural forces that often underpin them, so that what's most important to you - your hopes, dreams, and intentions - take center stage. Together, we can chart the landscape of the things you’re up against and how they operate in your life, so you’re able to make better choices. Problems don't always go away, but they can be moved to the background, and the way we relate to them can contribute to rich and meaningful living.
About Me
As a former tv writer, I get how stories can help or harm. Stories shape our realities, not the other way around. Together, we can rewrite stories that respect the life you've led and make the life you want come into sharper focus. As someone raised in two countries, I also get how tricky it is to navigate different and opposing cultural messages.
I have a BA in Film from Vassar College and spent much of my life as a tv writer/producer before answering the call to psychotherapy. I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. My lenses are LGTBQIA+ affirmative, sex-positive, and I'm sensitive to issues arising from racial trauma.

Services
Out of respect for safety, all services are currently being conducted remotely.
I do not accept insurance, but can provide superbills if your insurance company reimburses for out-of-network providers, which is sometimes the case with PPO insurance providers. Please discuss this with me if you are unsure. If you will not be using insurance, you have a right to a Good Faith Estimate of our work, per the recent No Surprises Act. You can find out more about that here.
My fees are listed below. I do have limited spaces for reduced fees in my practice. If working together is out of your price range, I will work to help you find affordable therapy through my professional network.
Where does it all lead? What will become of us? These were our young questions, and young answers were revealed. It leads to each other. We become ourselves.
